Network Power Connections unveils new mission statement following annual stand down day

At the start of 2026, the Network Power Connections team came together for the annual stand down day: A day dedicated to reflecting on how the business has evolved over the last year together with clear insight and direction for what is to come over the next 12 months.

Hosted at Gaudet Luce Golf Club, the morning was spent reflecting on successes of 2025, exploring goals for the year ahead, and encouraging each team member to complete a personal SWOT analysis as part of their ongoing development.

Operations Director, Jon Miles, led one of the key presentations and revealed the following 2025 business highlights:

  • 47 projects successfully completed [combining High Voltage and Low Voltage]
  • The NPC team successfully provided power to:
    • EV charging hubs
    • Domestic housing
    • Hospitals
    • Car Dealerships
    • Retail Parks
    • Petrol Filling Stations
  • Inclusion of a third Business Development Manager to strengthen commercial activity
  • Re-certified in ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 following an extensive audit process
  • Certification from several DNO’s to self-connect

With the launch of the new long-awaited SOP ‘Bible’, the introduction of bi-annual mandatory technical audits for the operations team and the implementation of new technologies, the team then hosted a collaborative session to develop Network Power Connection’s new mission statement and provide a clear focus and direction for the years ahead – outlined as follows:

“To establish Network Power Connections as a respected market leader in electrical infrastructure, known for safe and efficient delivery, sustainable practices, honest relationships and a committed team that consistently develops capability, trust and long-term client value.”

Discussing the success of the day and new, agreed positioning, Jon said: “Our annual stand down day is always a valuable opportunity to pause and reflect, but this year felt particularly important as the business continues to evolve following our success in 2025.

“Introducing a clear mission statement gives everyone across the business a shared direction and purpose, while ensuring we are aligned in how we operate, how we support one another and how we consistently deliver a high-quality service. With strong processes, ongoing audits and investment in new technologies, we are well positioned to support our customers, strengthen long-term relationships and drive the next phase of growth for Network Power Connections… Watch this space!”

The day concluded with everyone engaged in team building and friendly competition on the golf course.
